‘The Trials and Triumphs of G N Ramachandran’
G N Ramachandran is today most known for his Ramachandran Plot, which is one of the few scientific contributions from India which have made it into textbooks. But how many are aware of the story behind it? In this documentary, many prominent scientists including Directors of Institutes, a former Secretary of Indian Science and Technology, and a Nobel Laureate, come together to bring you the thrilling tale of a scientific genius who battled poor infrastructure and controversies to make foundational contributions in Structural Biology and established his department as a centre of world-class research.
